Lifestyle Corridor in Yew Tee Comes Alive!Yew Tee residents celebrated the opening of the final section of the Yew Tee Lifestyle Corridor on November 10, 2024. This exciting corridor, spanning 800 metres, transforms a previously underutilised space into a vibrant community recreational hub.Stretching from Pang Sua Canal to Yew Tee MRT station, the corridor bursts with life, featuring three themed areas: Heart of Yew Tee, Spirit of Kampong and Celebration of Harvest. Kids can now dive into some splashing fun at the Waterplay Plaza or unleash their energy at the Oil Drum Playground.Mr Alex Yam, Mayor of North West District, and Chairman of Marsiling-Yew Tee Town Council, said: %u201cYew Tee has set a significant precedent with this project. The Yew Tee Lifestyle Corridor is one of the first of its scale in Singapore to creatively utilise the space beneath the MRT viaduct %u2026 we have filled it with park facilities, play spaces, gardens and exercise amenities.%u201d The opening took place alongside the Yew Tee Town Day and Yew Tee Tree Planting Day, a testament to the estate%u2019s commitment to creating a sustainable living environment for all residents.
